Dates announced for the Wynn Fall Classic
At the Wynn Las Vegas, poker players ascend to the Encore poker room on a regular basis to take part in top tournament gaming options. In just a month’s time, one of the more popular tournament series held at the poker room will begin. The Wynn Fall Classic schedule has now been announced, kicking off on September 26th and running until October 14th, offering 16 events and over $1.8 million in prize money.
New Events Added:
For the 2018 version, the action will actually last a week longer than in 2017. Players will have access to new tournaments including the October 3rd $400 Pot Limit Omaha event as well as the October 10th $3,200 High Roller. The schedule will also include new events featuring no limit hold’em with the big blind ante format.
Perhaps the most anticipated tournament on the schedule is the Championship Event, a $1,600 tournament featuring a $500,000 prize pool guarantee. Players can take part in starting flights on the 12th and 13th with players given 25,000 in starting chips. Blind levels will be set at 45 minutes on Day 1 then increase to 60 minutes on Day 2 and 75 minutes on the last day of the event.

The Championship event has the largest guaranteed prize pool but there are other events featuring $100,000, $150,000 and $250,000 in prize money. One of the first events, the $545 + $55 No Limit Hold’em tournament, kicks off on September 27th and features a prize pool of $250,000.
Super Satellites:
Players in Las Vegas attending the event can also take part in Super Satellites hosted by the Encore poker room. Buy-ins will range from $100 to $400, offering players a specific number of starting chips and blind levels for each buy-in, with the winner earning an entry into a Wynn Fall Classic event.
